cauliflowerUplifting news for poets and poetry lovers everywhere this week, as Waitrose announces it is to have a Year Of Poetry, with Roger McGough verse displayed in its stores, and opportunities for customer poets to have their own verse displayed amongst the caulis and cochineal. The aim is to reduce the drudgery of the weekly shop, like Poems On The Tube do for the daily commute.

And then this week too, we discovered The Product Poet. This enterprising bard combines love of poetry and brands to get commissioned by the latter, we assume. With 137,000 twitter followers @ProductPoet this is one wordsmith who’s really sorted out his spondoolicks from his scansion. And good luck to him!
