Have a tale of two Scratches today for you, both in their own way useful to writers.

Scratch Magazine, launched by digital publishing guru Jane Friedman combines writing plus money plus life as its themes: and you don’t get much better than that… do you?

You can read the edition on Monetization here for free, before you decide to subscribe.

And the other Scratch is for kids: it’s a computer programming site to make games, animations and other content with the principles of programming made highly accessible. It stuck me you don’t necessarily have to be a child to play there…

So one way or another, whether sophisticated and literary or playful and fun, may you be itching to get going…

Ps. Neither of these is to be confused with the Scratch magazine for nail technicians. Definitely one for Have I Got News For You!
