Hello writer pals, and pleased here to let you Complete Freelance Writing Course students know about new content, currently available only inside the course.
I’ve been inspired to ask and attempt to answer the question: what practical lessons can we learn from great writers? And in this first video of the series, we look at Jane Austen, the Brontes and Agatha Christie. There will be modern male writers to follow, I promise…
In this lesson, you get three practical writing exercises: free indirect voice, setting as reflector, and locked room experiment. I aim here to build up a most useful bank of exercises, as this is what you lovely students say you value most in online courses.
This new lesson is Lecture 39 of the course, and in the Good Writing section, though it may move to its own section further down the line. Have fun with the exercises, and as ever, please do feel free to send your experiments over and, or, let me know how you get on!
