Poems On The Pitch
Thanks to Arts Council of Wales and Cllr Mark Tierney, we toured Narberth’s football places with a group of talented poets to create work to honour the Wales football team and especially local hero, Joe Allen. Full video at Narberth Museum.
Town Poem For Llandeilo
Llandeilo Litfest, an annual event every April, asked us to run a workshop creating a town poem for Llandeilo. Our astonishingly talented contributors created this lovely poem and thanks to all of them.
Way Of The Witch
For Halloween 2022, we invited anyone in the community interested in witchcraft to come to an evening of witchy entertainment and open mic. Some wonderful poet friends contributed, Emma spoke on local witchcraft history, Philippa did how to release your inner witch and we all ate cake and cheese. It was magic!
Write By The River
Write By The River was a walk and write workshop we ran for Llangwmlitfest in 2022. Participants and Ivor, our podcast dog, loved it…
Women Of West Wales Project
As part of the Women of West Wales project which Emma ran at Narberth Museum, we created poetry videos with women from Llangwm, which we developed at the Cottage Inn, in the village. They were performed at Llangwmlitfest 2019, in the village hall, and went down a treat.
The BBC covered the project here.
We’d like to thank: Narberth Museum, Llangwm History Society, Michael Pugh and Llangwmlitfest, Matthew and the Cottage Inn Llangwm, and all the lovely poets who joined in with Women of West Wales project #WOWW
